NewScope Marketing is a family oriented experiential marketing company driven by the need to create rare and lasting experiences that emotionally connects our clients' brand with their customers.

As the Art Director of NewScope I was blessed with the opportunity to rebrand the company to stand shoulder to shoulder with their experiential marketing competitors. The goal of our rebrand was to create a consistent brand narrative and look through new visual identity and web presence. I used the symbolism of an eclipse as a visual metaphor for the rare but lasting experiences that NewScope provides to their client's potential customers.

 
 

FDAF BROCHURE

NewScope Marketing's biggest Client is Ford Motor Company. Ford is a client not just as a whole but in many parts. NewScope activates at events for the Ford regional offices, the Ford dealers, and the Ford Truck Team.

The FDAF Brochure and its' example pages below were created to market to independent Ford Dealers throughout the United States. NewScope is a company with national reach and the goal of this brochure was to Identify ourselves and our capabilities for dealers who would benefit from our services.

As one of the top 3 marketing companies for Ford Motor Company, It is important for NewScope to visually articulate our capabilities and the assets we command. Above is just two pages of a 6 page double-gate fold spread that extensively details our display assets.

The back cover of the FDAF Brochure is a picture that was taken at the "Ford Out Front" area at SEMA 2016. Pictured is a custom Ford F-750 Hauler that was created by the incredibly talented fabricators of NewScope.

The image itself is actually the product of two pictures. When I took the photos, I couldn't get a clean shot of the Built Ford Tough SEMA wall and the vehicle without a few people in the shot because of high foot traffic. I took two of the photos that almost lined up perfectly and took out the people of both without sacrificing the visibility of everything in the shot. Can you see the coverups?

THE 2017 RAPTOR SIMULATOR

 
 

During my tenure as Art Director for NewScope Marketing, I had the opportunity to develop a new skill in rendering models in Google Sketchup through some one-on-one tutoring. I used my new skills to build the above rendering of NewScope’s 2017 Race Raptor Simulator. The goal was to exemplify NewScope’s ability to take a display from idea to rendering and then fabrication, however the rendering was built off the dimensions I took and displayed below.

The 2017 Race Raptor Simulator was a unique and ambitious project for NewScope. A similar trailer display that preceded this one employed the cab of a 2015 F-150 without it's bed, wheels, or frame. The prior model would jostle and shake to simulate Ford's F-150 Trophy Truck that trekked through a number of races including the famous Baja 1000. 

The new simulator was created to more adequately show a rider the capabilities of the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor's stock Fox Racing Shox. A replica of the truck that raced at the 2016 Baja 1000 was placed in the trailer and attached to four independently moving hydraulic arms. These four arms are programmed to move the trucks tires and the movement are synced to a video of race footage that is simultaneously playing on a screen in place of the windshield. How cool is that?

Using several gopros at SEMA 2016 in Las Vegas, I put together this promo for NewScope to entice potential clients to book the display for events. The video animation at the beginning was commissioned by me and done by a third party vendor.

I was the front end designer for the new NewScope Website. When I joined NewScope, a new site had just been finished but after having several discussions when longstanding employees about the brand direction needs and what they had, It was agreed that the new site didn’t match those needs and felt dated for a company trying to communicate a strength in innovation.

Unfortunately, my vision for the updated site with the brand identity I created never came to fruition. During the turnover when I left NewScope Marketing to start MBV with my Gen. Mgr, the new developers chosen were unable to execute the design. To see the full design, CLICK the links below.

 

SWEEPSTAKES SIGNAGE

 
 

One of the pillars of NewScope Marketing's success is founded on data collection. NewScope entices consumers to engage with the display and once they're engaged, on-site brand ambassadors encourage entering into the featured sweepstakes. As Art Director my job included the design all sweepstakes signage. Pictured are a few examples of the signage I've created and my personal favorite is front and center. The 2017 Ford Fuerza is the Ford Regional Office's hispanic retargeting program due to the higher representation of hispanic residents in the Texas. Texas is Ford's highest truck market and I created the look of this sweepstakes signage by collaging imagery inspired by hispanic and latin culture.

In addition to the a-frames I design and order for NewScope and Ford sweepstakes, pull-up banners are typically designed and ordered to match the a-frame signage used at activations.  

 

2016 ANNUAL REPORT

Shortly after I started with NewScope I was tasked with creating the annual report of our data collection opt-ins, leads, event attendance, and giveaways. This was also the opportunity for NewScope to unveil the new brand identity to the Ford Truck Team. I traveled with my employer Brad Snyder to Ford headquarters in Detroit, MI to meet with the Ford Truck Team and go over the report. It was invaluable experience to sit across from this accomplished team and see how NewScope was impacting their success and to be the one who showed them.
